I absolutely loved my stay at New Teddy's on the Beach in Jambiani, Zanzibar. The location was excellent, right on one of the best beaches on the island. The food was delicious with a wide variety of vegetarian options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the assistant manager Celina. The amenities were great, with a beautiful pool and comfortable dorm accommodations. I felt safe and had a fantastic time meeting new people and making friends.

I had a great time at New Teddy's On The Beach. The location was perfect, right by the ocean and with a beautiful view. The common areas were nicely designed and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the vegan options. The shower in the private bathroom had hot water and good pressure. The pool was a fantastic spot to cool off and enjoy the sun. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a memorable beach vacation.

just returned from an incredible stay in Jambiani and New Teddy's exceeded all expectations! The sunbeds, swings, and huts were perfect for soaking up the sun or finding shade. The food was super yummy, especially the Banana Flash Mocktail. Can't wait to return!

Slow customer service.

New Teddy's is a paradise on the beach, with a fair price, beautiful interior, and friendly staff. The surroundings are picturesque and the hotel is well-organized. The manager, Leonie, is helpful and there are small details that make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely nothing.

The bar and restaurant area is the heart of the place. The outdoor swimming pool is a dream. The beauty of the place takes your breath away. Oh, and you can drink as much as you want! The barmen make amazing cocktails and juices, and the team is passionate and welcoming. I met great people from all over the world.

Such a shame that the staff at the bar were not friendly and made me feel unwelcome. Waiting half an hour for a cocktail while someone else gets served first isn't my idea of a good time.

I had the most incredible time at this beachfront hotel! the location was perfect, just a short distance from the busy area but still peaceful and calm. the amenities were fantastic, especially the beautiful infinity pool and the hammocks and swings where I spent most of my time. I also really enjoyed the delicious food and drink options available. It truly felt like my home away from home.

Sometimes the wait for food at the restaurant took a bit longer, especially when it was busy. we experienced a few power cuts during the night, which resulted in the fan in our room not working and making it quite hot.
